We use reward based training - we want to set your puppy up for success.

PUPPY TIME 

Ages 2 months to 5 months old ( must have received their first set of vaccinations)

Puppy Time includes the following:

• Socialization (safely and positively with other friendly dogs and people)
• House breaking
• Crate training
• Puppy Nipping
• Leash manner training
• Sit etiquette training (in & out of vehicles, doors, before food)
• Down training
• "Sit Stay" training (both solo and group)
• Name Association training
• "Come" when called training (shaped within our fully fenced facility and behind the property on long line leashes)
• Field trips (short positive and rewarding visits to vets and groomers)
• Play nicely (supervised play time, learning to share toys and avoiding any behaviors such as object possessiveness)
• Good greets (with other dogs and people)
• "Drop" training (to drop something that is their mouth)
• "Ok" (release cue after command e.g sit stay at a door)
• "Gentle" (when taking treats)
• Grooming and handling (de-sensitizing them to being brushed and handled)
  

TEEN TIME 

Ages 6 months to 16 months of age

Teen Time includes the following:

• Socialization (safely and positively with other friendly dogs and people)
• 1 hour hike (off or on leash within a small group)
• "Come" when called training (shaped within our fully fenced facility, on a long line leash and off leash on our group hikes)
• Good greets (with other friendly dogs and people)
• "Drop" training (to drop something that is in their mouth)
• "Sit" etiquette
• Play nicely (supervised play, leaning to share toys and avoiding behaviors such as object possessiveness)
• "Sit stay" training (both solo and group)
• "Gentle" (when taking treats)
• "Ok" (release cue after a command e.g sit stay in a vehicle)

 

 FREE PICK UP AND DROP OFF SERVICE IS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST

 

All training is reward based - Allie & the rest of the staff will be equipped with extremely rewarding healthy treats and a huge amount of enthusiasm!

Puppy Sleepovers 

Puppy sleepovers are in the comfort and care of Allie and Michelle's dog friendly homes. Located at DogHaven. 

Their vacation will include socializing at daycare, stimulating and rewarding leashed or off leash walks, basic training and lots of care and affection.

Private Puppy Training Consultations

Allie offers Private Puppy training consultations week evenings and weekends for you and your family in the comfort of your own home. She will provide you with an abundance of knowledge, tips, demonstrations and literature.
