Daycare

DogHaven’s large indoor/ outdoor daycare space offers many options for dog’s entertainment, stimulation and exploration.
The day is devoted to Balance, an equal part of exercise and leadership.

Every dog will be matched according to age and energy level. We go out in small groups to the mountains to hike and explore. We establish strong leadership with our pack and encourage young pups to learn from their older pack members, in a supervised safe way. After the first adventure it’s back to the sanctuary, to chill, nap, drink some purified water and have a snack. Puppies are given nap time in the Zen Den.

The second adventure of the day could include going for a swim or even a bike ride on the local trials. When 4:00 pm rolls around, it’s time to go home. Pick up is between 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm. When we close our lobby doors, the overnight dogs are tucked away in the Karma Cabin or the Zen Den for a restful sleep.
DogHaven can contain your dog safe, with secure 7’ fencing, double doors and the fence runs below ground for those diggers. The general public has no access to the dogs at any time. We also have separate areas for Big dogs, small dogs & puppies.
 

Boarding

When you need to be away for a night, a week or even longer, let us take care if your dog in the familiar environment of Dog Haven retreat.  After a full day of daycare, an adventure hike, dinner, we put your dog in the Karma Cabin or the Zen Den to enjoy a relaxing evening and well deserved sleep on comfortable dog beds, fresh glacier water and some soothing music to, sleep next to the fireplace. In the morning your dog has breakfast, and starts to meet and greet the new day pack.

We know there’s no place like home, that’s why we go above and beyond, and do what we can to ensure your dog is comfortable. Some dogs stay in our house amongst Michelle and her family, some get an individual walk or ball time, a massage or just some extra TLC!

Puppy Training

We now offer puppy daycare with basic obedience training and socialization at our second facility located in Brakendale. Numbers are kept to a minimum to ensure we give the best possible service. Please see the PuppyHaven section above for more information.
